Exclamation New bedsides for the C-20

I finally got the cab all finished and ready for paint, but its time to work on the bed (long fleetside). Where can I find new bed sides or bed repair pannels for my '78? The wheel wells are rusted out, and the passenger side has been mashed in. I have been thru a lot of junk yards, and I am having a hard time finding strait, or nearly strait bed sides. I can weld so maybe I can get away with some patch pannels.

Does anyone know of a vendor that I can get body parts like these for a decent price? I'm in the Phoenix area. Anything close to me?

Too bad you don't live closer to Canada. My friend has two brand new OEM 8' box sides sitting in his garage. Bought these then switched to a shorty.

Sider 68 thanks for the welcome. See that you are in New market, Ontario. Any good deals there on a 73-80 GMC or CHEV shorty step side trucks running or parts trucks. Trying to locate a drivers door and fenders, along with a left side step fender. All around here are pretty rusted out. I am 128 miles NW of Thunder Bay, Ontario, close to the Minnesota boarder. I am about a 5 hour drive to Duluth. I would appreciate any help that you can give me. PM me if you need anymore info. Again thanks and it was nice to hear from you. These parts are actually for my son's 80 GMC project, but he is away at University in Southern Ontarioand I am on the parts hunt. I am also looking for a daily driver in the 73-80 years.

Elwood, there is a place on Van Buren around 40th Avenue, south side that has replacement panels. Also watch the republics classified adds under auto parts, there is a guy ho parts out 73-87 trucks, he was located just south of I-17 around 16th Street but he moved from there, but watch the add he regularly advertises there.
