Salvage yards in Kansas

Hey all,

Are there any salvage yards in central Kansas that have any of our trucks? I'm not a paying member (which is why I'm not posting in the classifieds), but I am needing a pair of doors for my '70 C20. I'm not asking to buy anything off of the board. I'm simply wanting to know if I can find any here in Kansas.

Thanks!

Good luck with that. Randy (member teeitup) has pretty well cleaned out central Kansas of '67-'72 trucks......... I'm not saying you won't find any but it may not be easy.

If you pay for your membership, you will probably find more doors than you can use.

I can't believe I waited as long as I did.

Look up Randy[Teeitup] he is KS and has tons of stuff. He is going through what I would think is a bad time, so he may be hard to get an answer from but he may have what you need. Jim

I'll tell you what there is plenty of this stuff just laying around yes everyone is building these projects but there are still a lot of yards around that have misc stuff kicking around just hope on google and find yards around your area and you'll find it really no matter if it's a 10 or 20 most parts off these trucks are interchangeable and you'll find what you need

Don't forget that the doors off of the big trucks will fit too. The C-40's and C-50's. You just have to weld a piece on the lower front corner where the cutout is. Generally they are in good shape because the truck is higher and they are more protected......

Re: Salvage yards in Kansas

I've been to Bobs place. He's constantly buying these trucks and dismantling them. I've bought several pieces for my truck there too. He has a pretty good selection of doors. I bought my doors from Randy though.(teeitup)
