Door widow assembly steps???

I am ready to assemble my bare doors. What is the steps for repalcing the windows and seals?

Is the vent window first then window chanel felt , window wipers then side glass?

Its been to long since I pulled it apart.

If I can remember the order for reassembly:

The window scrapers and fuzzies
The rear channel
The rear channel and door frame liner
The window glass and channel it sits in
The vent window assembly
The vent side window liner
The regulator assembly
The remote latch assembly

These are pretty vague instructions to say the least.
The channels will need to be tightened up with their screws at different times throughout the reassembly process.
The vent window assembly will need to be the first to be loosened and the last to be tightened.

Then the question of whether the rubber on the bottom of the vents should be on the outside or inside of the door.
Originally I feel that they would have been installed to the inside of the door. However I installed mine to the outside as a way to prevent water runoff getting inside the doors.

Have fun

Reviving an old post here.
Ive got everything apart and now need to start putting the moldings and stuff back in.
Question is: The molding that goes on the long channel that is a part of the vent window....does it get glued or rivited in? From what I can tell it looks like glue but there are also rivits there...but they look like part of the assembly itself.

Glue. The rivets are for the vent window rubber.

I think that the original stuff was rivited in.
Just scrape it all out, you might need a razor knife in some situations.
When I re-assembled mine the product that I used was some sort of bendable stuff and I put it in without glue for a trial fit and it fit so tight that it has stayed there for over a year with no problems.
If it slips I can always glue it later.

I just got through with the driver door and went for a ride. It really makes a major difference in the wind noise that I was hearing. Will do the passenger side later this week.
Thanks for the input.
