What do s the stock ride height of a 3/4 ton
Does anyone know the actual ride height of a 70 3/4 ton from the factory? I'm about to buy new springs and I want my truck 1 in lower in the front and about 2 inches in the back and don't know what size lowering springs to get. I want my truck to look stock just not so high I am not a tall guy and right now it's just a hair to high for me ( I have stock 45 year old springs)

Re: What do s the stock ride height of a 3/4 ton
You might consider that 1-2" may not change your stance much, if at all. As you say, your springs are 45 years old, so they probably sag. You might get an idea how much sag with equal air pressure in the tires and a tape measure, but even that won't say much. My first thought for your 1-2" is simply 1-2" drop coils. Maybe some blocks.
I don't know the correct height and good luck finding someone who does. I only know the rear was 2-3" taller. Most people say 2". One way to confirm that is for someone with say a 2/4 drop. If their truck is level (with same tires/wheels), then it was 2". I suspect it's somewhere between 2-3". This drop business is all new to me. I'm looking into a 2/4 or 3.5/5.5. Found this webpage just a moment ago. Good information: http://www.stylintrucks.com/Articles..._glossary.aspx

No problem. Figured I better measure it my Porterbuilt stage 1 front and stage 2 rear showed up today. I feel a little guilty baggin it because the truck is so nice.
