65 GMC S.B fleet on Craigs

Let me start by saying I have no interest in this truck or seller other than I saw it posted on the list of craig's.
Hopefully everyone that looks will just do it for pleasure. I hate it when people start bashing & saying that pos is not worth $50.
Can't tell much from the one pic. Maybe more could be had if someone was interested.
"I think it's a perfect candidate to CLR, slam, bag, LS, done. And to me, not a lot of money. I would love to add it to the herd, but, not now.

Well to be honest.....$2500 is a little high for a truck that has No motor or trans. BUT the value in a GMC shortbed fleetside with custom chrome has value in itself. If I was to say my opinion about what should be done to this truck everyone would start complaining about me. lol

IMO, its a perfect candidate for a factory authentic restoration. https://c1.staticflickr.com/5/4061/4...fe2_z.jpg?zz=1

lol Motors are easy to find, everyone knows someone with a extra motor laying around nowadays or.... it's one call to "Summit" to order one, but finding the good truck "canvas" is the hard part.

Yeah, If one was to restore it stock, finding a good running V6 is fairly hard....I got real lucky on mine. lol. Heck it ran great on 4.5 cylinders!

Those GMC tu-tones resemble the '55-'57s Chevy Bel Air paint schemes.

If you squint while looking at the picture you can almost see it slammed with big wheels (rear is white, front is black), I think it's cool.
