Driver door stuck closed

So I went to get in my 71 and apparently the insides got messed up because I can't get in. Once I got in through the passenger side I am not able to unlock it, use the door handle or budge any of the parts. I took the door panel off and of all the inner parts are locked in place. I can move the door lock parts but all the rods are just stuck. This has never happened to me before. Any ideas on what to do. It's awkward to work on because I have to be in the truck. Also the door latch is only about a year old. The everyone.

Did you try pushing in on the door while trying to move locks or buttons?

disconnect the rods from the latch then trip the latch to open it. then open door for comfort and begin troubleshooting. if that doesn't open it may be a mechanism problem tap and fool with it to try to get it to operate. thats my approach?? hope it helps
