another small block header question!

I'm running a 350 small block with a set of trick flow G1 heads in my 66 GMC. 1/2 ton 2wheel drive.
The problem is that I have the forward mounts & angle plugs.
Can any one help.
Summit racing sent me set & said that they would work but they hit the frame.
If you can tell me what you are running & how much you had to do to make them work.

Re: another small block header question!

I also have trickflows with angle plugs in my 66. When I get to work I'll look up the part number of the headers I use that work and send it your way.

Re: another small block header question!

Here is what I ordered and they fit my SBC. My SBC is also moved forward a bit compared to the stock location.

Re: another small block header question!

Looking at pics in your build thread, will a 90* boot work on #5 or is a straight boot needed?

Re: another small block header question!

For these headers a straight is needed for 5. When I made the wires I made then for the old headers, but those hit the frame/crossmember. I'm not crazy about the routing of #6 and will try and clean it up a bit to be inside the header. OP if you look at page 2 of my build thread you can see the headers on the engine.
