90 corvette
I have a 90 corvette with a L98 motor I got a few weeks ago. I was checking the coolant the other day. I had the rad cap off while it was running checking making sure it was full and everything working. While it was running the coolant started to boil out. I checked the temp gauge and it showed it wasn't running hot. I wondering what would cause it to do that?

Re: 90 corvette
air possibly escaping from the motor. could also be just the flow of coolant coming from the motor. was it warm when you looked at it ( I mean the engine had been running for a little while)

Re: 90 corvette
Yes coolant was hot. I talked to a guy at a Chevy dealership today. The guy said it maybe a closed thermostat.
