32 years ago, as a young man, I threw together a '51 chevy 5 window. The other day I found this out behind a shed in Northwest Arkansas and lost all reasoning . So I reckon I am going to do it again. This time with an S10 swap. Found my donor yesterday. While hunting parts, I ran across Sims6 who is way ahead of me on the same build and about 10 miles away. He turned me on to this site! I have already been picking through a wealth of info here. Awesome site!
If I loaded the pic correctly, here is my start in all her glory! Note the awesome oldsmobile? hood ornament |

Thanks flashed. For now I plan on keeping her just like she is outwardly.
In the meantime, I don't know who the Madison County Crew is, but hopefully they aren't looking for their truck. |

More like the Apple Dumpling Crew, Jeff ;0.
Thanks Tony! Build is going to be a slow process as I don't even have a garage, but tear down on S10 starts today and actually got the '52 "yard driveable" just for the fun of it. Just needed a little fuel system cleanup, coil and distributor cap. Not to mention a major dewasping, snake skin, mouse carcass and acorn removal. ...If I can get that boat in the background of the picture sold, I can start on my garage. Talk about putting the cart before the horse. |
