I don't disagree. I plumbed mine that way originally, but ended up removing the valve for another project because I have never adjusted it from full open. A wilwood port summit brand adjustable(order the summit brand. It says wilwood under the summit sticker) valve is pretty cheap and only adds a few extra flares and fittings in. The front to rear weight bias on your truck may make it necessary.
