Is sandblasting OK for a battery tray?
I have a "new-to-me" battery tray but it needs the grime and surface rust off. Is sandblasting too much for it?
Does it need crushed glass blasting instead? |

Re: Is sandblasting OK for a battery tray?
Well good! Thanks!
I really need to get a blasting cabinet but I don't have the room for it. I've been trying to make due hiring it done and using electrolytic rust removal and evaporust on smaller parts. Maybe next summer, when I get the garage renovated, I'll have some more room. |

Check rust removal on youtube. 1 part vinegar, 2 parts water. Wait 2 days and wash the rust off, the paint stays on. Works on the process of "chelation"
