60-66 C10; Air Ride, Best Wheel Size for Slamed Stance

Greetings forum members. I have been a long time lurker...

I'm wondering if anyone has any pictures of a 60-66 C10 on Air Ride on 18's or other size wheels. If you could go ahead and identify the suspension setup and wheels, that would be an added bonus.

I'm trying to get my truck as low as possible without having to cut through the bed. If anyone can just kind of show me the possibilities as to what I could attain that would be great as I'm getting ready to begin frame and crossmember design.

My objective isn't to lay frame or anything like that; I would like to level the truck out and drop it as low as possible. I'm trying to preserve the utility of the bed as for there could be a need for me to use it from time to time. The main idea of the setup is also to be able to drive the truck when aired out.

Are you willing to raise the bed floor? I ask because I don't consider my chassis low, but I still had to raise my bed floor 1" even with a sheet metal rear housing (flat on top).

Note where the top of my rear housing is in relation to the frame...

Thats fine, I'm looking for inspiration period.Does everything look fairly factory? I am really playing with a few different ideas at this point and trying to set a budget as this will be a budget build.

If you raise the floor and section the tubs, you could go 4" and keep it looking fairly stock.

Here's an older photo of my chassis at ride height...16x12 wheels in the back and 15x7 wheels in front. Again, my chassis is not slammed, so keep that in mind about the bed floor and frame if you want to go lower.

Planning on changing the rolling stock after I get it painted to 18x10 in the rear and 17x7 up front.

Thank you. Yes on a basic air kit (2 way).

Wheels are Dodge Steelies 20 x 9 off a Ram-they are the spare wheels on trucks from I think 2002-2005 or so. PO put them on with spacers. I just modified them a bit to my taste.

I painted them and added the GMC hubcaps using some self made brackets and had 20 inch whitewall tires made by Diamondback Classics

215 70 15 front 15x7 and 235 70 15 rear 15x8 steel wheels. Rear roll pan with factory bumper, 49 Pontiac tail lights frenched into the body.
