Lights, but no fire!

Ok, I pulled my dash bezel and installed my camaro tach in it.

I put it all back together and now I turn my ignition key and I have power, but there is nothing else. No clicking, no engine turning over, nothing. I ran the battery down because when I pulled out the headlight knob, I did not realize it turned the lights on and stayed on.

So I have it on the charger for tonight, but if that does not work, then where do I start?

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Ron

Loose connector on the key switch, or on the fuse panel

May recognize his face. I work at the only place that just about every person in Blackwell visits at least once a week! What does he drive, I may know that better?

Nice to meet you!

Ron

He has a primer grey 72 short bed, and a real nice gold and white 71 or72, He goes around buying up trucks. He buys them as driver's and some for salvage metal. I recently got a rusted farm truck 68 he wants the ac brackets off of.
I went to that bob bales salvage auction and bought a body complete 67 3/4 ton for $65. I wanted the grill and earlier in the week he wanted $60 for the damn thing.

if you ran your battery down, once its recharged it should fire right up, if you have any problems with your cluster, there is a ground strap the goes from the cluster to the dash, make sure you have it connected, or funky things happen with your cluster, I did that once went nuts, till I found the unhooked wire

Doughby82, I think you may have found his problem for him. My son's truck did the same thing after pulling the cluster and reinstalling it.
