2000 K3500 auto problem
So my wife is driving our truck today, goes around a cornet and the transmission goes pop and she pulls over, tries reverse and drive nothing happens. I'm headed to pick up the truck now. 2000 chevy k3500 auto with manual shift t case' 212,000 miles. Any thoughts?

Will it hold Park? Did the transfer case get bumped into neutral?

Re: 2000 K3500 auto problem
It's not the tranny thank goodness. The transfer case is wore out. Pulled it a short distance home then started checking things. First we disconnected the cooler line for the tranny, cranked it over and shot fluid out. Then I started the truck and shifted R to D and could feel the motor and tranny trying to pull. Started shifting the t case and then put it into D and it moved. Called a friend that runs a drivetrain shop and he said it sounded like the t case was wore out. So I drove it to his shop and everytime i let off the gas it tried to pop into neutral. Anyways its in line to be rebuilt. Thanks for you input.
