Re: Anybody know what this is??

Nobody knows what this bracket is for??? Any possible guesses? I was yanking the blue shag carpet out after removing the seat and found the bracket and it was not hooked to anything but looks factory. The truck is a 78 K20 burb.

Re: Anybody know what this is??

Is it welded to the floor?

If so - it's not factory. If it was welded it would have been attached in the body shop - prior to paint - and would have been painted body color along with the rest of the cab.

I don't recognize it.

Can you take a closer picture of the first view?

Re: Anybody know what this is??

The wire is probably for the 4x4 indicator on the dash it should go under the shifter boot for transfer case to a sensor on top of case on np205 and to the shifter on a np203 my 79 k5 had it but I don't remember what gauge it was under originally fuel or speedometer I moved the indicators around when I installed the camaro tach

Re: Anybody know what this is??

It definitely doesn't look original. It's stainless steel. No clue what it would be used for. Dang PO's and their monkey business here's a closeup.
