What size lift is needed to clear 35" tires? Will a 2.5" work?

I have 2.5 on my half ton and 33's will rub if you turn and hit a bump just right. I would go with 4"

Yep, got 305's on mine with 2.5" and that's all that would fit. Need 4 or more.

yup deffinatley 4 , i think 4 with 35's is the perfect stance , for shortbeds , here is my old one , 2 susp , 2 body and 35" boggers , the small susp let me keep all the good steering angles without changing the arm or drag link, they cleared just fine and i mudded her quite a bit ,

I put 4" Skyjacker and 35" BFGs on mine. They will rub the lower front of the front fender if the wheel is turned just right and doing some serious flexing. I don't do any offroading so not an issue.

4" lift and 35X12.5 on factory 15X8 ralley wheels wont touch the fenders at all no matter what (unless you really stuff the wells). Anything wider then 8" rim will make even 35X12.5 touch the fenders on a 4" lift.

go for the 4", I've a 4" Skyjacker suspension lift in my Blazer and the 35's are close but don't rub unless your flexing the suspension a lot. It's got 35x12.50x15 on it with 15x10 rims and they don't touch the fender one bit until you start flexing and even then it's just a little rub nothing serious.
