Re: Manual Steering Downgrade Question
We had a 1977 C-10 suburban with manual steering box and it was horrible to drive at low speeds
![]() Not only that, but the box completely wore out and we had to replace it at $300+ back in the late nineties. Before that, the steering had so much play that turning the wheel while driving a straight road was merely a "suggestion" as to where the truck might go, although once in a curve it was okay.
