I thank you for the reply in ref to the steering bar being close to the frame. I was a bit nervous but I drove the truck for the first time ever.......in 3 years I've owned and been restoring it. There was no noticable rubbing or issues with the steering or the radiator or anything for that matter. I had a gas can tied inside the cab to feed the carb and a rope attached to the positive terminal to yank for emergency stop of the engine. I only drove it around my yard since most body parts were still off.
Talk about a good.....accomplished feeling........

Still curious as to the length of the K6143 pitman arm center to center ?

The pitman arm appears to be 5" center to center. Sorry for the delay on response....too many things happening. Little difficult measuring on the vehicle with the step down as well.
