lowering help?

I tried to lower the '67 this last weekend - installed the new 6 lug classic perform rotors/ with belltech drop spindles, but I wasn't able to get any turn radius. the spindle was hitting the bump stop on the '77 control arms I have on it. what's up with that?

Anybody offer some advice?

Dropped my son's '77 c10 last year with 3 inch spindles and 2 inch springs without too many problems...some grinding involved. Send pics of interference and maybe someone can help.
