I noticed you have leafs, but also have the trailing arm mounts as well...what's the deal there ?? Is that how it came ??

yea chief i saw that too, i guess the previous owners just never took them off when teh switched to leaf springs whatever lol im in the middle of pressure washing it and wire brushing it then i got some rubber undercoating for it

so no posts for a long time, finished the truck, swapped the th350 out for a 700r4, rebuit the 400, making it a 406 with .480 ish lift cam and flat tops, several thousand hard miles later the 406 broke the crank started knocking, the truck was still my dd at the time so bought the 260hp/350 ft.lbs. gm crate, cleaned up the engine bay, rebuit the 12 bolt with eaton tru- trac and 4:11, drove a few thousand miles to and from work (hvac service), got a company truck, decided i wanted to swap to a LS motor as i had a 02 z28 t56 camaro in between there for 8 months or so to convince me the LS motor is the way of the future, did some craigslist searching found a 2006 gto 6.0/t56 with 74k in richmond that the guy wanted to part out (crazy i know), test drove it ran killer, lots of low end torque should be good for the truck im thinkin, so we worked out a deal($6500), i drove the car home pulled the motor, trans, ecu, radiator with fans, and the harness and he came and picked the car up, already have my wilwood 4 wheel discs, along with new painless harness and ididit steering column, truck is stripped frame is primed, now just waitin on the porterbuilt extreme front and rear treatment and air ride parts to arrive.....

really got some stuff done now that its starting to cool down a little, just waiting for the Vintage Air Front runner setup to come in and then its time for some thunder in the pipes

If you need a hydraulic clutch conversion to work that T56 let me know.
