Rear Window Hinges Help?

On my '64 subbie, just nearing finish I'm having trouble with the rear window (lift gate rear) hinges. They have too much play, don't want to shut right and vary side to side such that the finish is damaged. Are these parts that can be successfully rebuilt? Or best to fine a pair in better shape?

Re: Rear Window Hinges Help?

I haven't pulled mine off yet but I'm assuming you can rebush them using standard door hinge bushings and pins. If they are in fact like the doors the original hinge bushings were plastic and wore out easily. The replacements are bronze.
