Re: Porterbuilt Front tire Size
Nate,
I appreciate the Reply, of course I will do the homework on where my backspace needs to be. I am just trying to get an idea of where I need to start looking for tires and wheel width. 12 weeks cant come fast enough...... I think I have only made it through a month of my lead time so far. Speaking of sway bars. would a splined (or bolt together) type sway bar with flat plate arms, Similar to a A-body ridetech muscle bar give more clearance to run a wider tire and/or more backspace? I am thinking the shock would then become the next limiting factor? |

I am sure the tabs could be re-located inboard a little if you wanted to run a narrower sway bar, Nate

I am curious to know, If the mounting C/L of the swaybar can somehow be moved rearward on the frame, and have the swaybar end link mount through the plate of the control arm rather than on a tab to the outside of the arm. I am not sure of any bag clearance issues that may come up in this situation. I thought I saw a post a while back where you mentioned you would be making your sway bars in house or were changing suppliers is this still happening. |

Also.... YES.... sway bars are in the works. Dialing in a few things before we put them into production. Nate

Re: Porterbuilt Front tire Size
Thanks again for the information. I will be completing my order at eh end of the month. I will hold off on the sway bar until I have everything else installed.
