Tailgate patina straight black rat rod

Nice straight rust free original black paint tailgate with great patina and vintage Smokey the Bear decal.
$500 shipped in a wooden crate.

I bet that was an original gm gate that never got painted, I had one, looked just like that, (Without smokey da bear) You could see where the part sticker was inside the gate up behind the handle.

Never thought of that, but I bet your right!
So, I bet it was a NOS gate, that never got painted before installing.
Any way, it's a cool dead straight rust free gate. Looks better than the PICs.
