seat conversion
I was wondering if there is anyone who has installed a 2007 or 2014 2nd row chevy Tahoe seat in their 67-72 c10. I thinking of buying one and would like to see if it works. if not can anybody recommend the best looking route to go

Re: seat conversion
Mines out of an 06 tahoe. Had to make small modifications to the seat but nothin to major. The sear still folds down like factory-installed and it's bolted down to factory holes in the cab.

Re: seat conversion
I welded flat strap in the front so I could us the stock holes in the floor and I had to cut some metal off the back of the frame. I had to dent in the trans tunnel just a little bit too to make room for the front hinge on the driver side. I could take some better pics if you'd like.

Re: seat conversion
My truck currently has a Suburban bench from the mid-2000's. I'll be taking it out within the next couple of weeks once the upholsterer is done refinishing my 70 bench. I'll post some pics once it is out to show the bracket fabrication.

Re: seat conversion
Finally got the Suburban seat out and the newly recovered bench in. Found out that the Suburban seat did not use the stock mounting points, 2 were the same, 6 were changed. Here's a pic of the underside of the Suburban seat, if you need any measurements or dimensions just let me know.
