i remember now, my grommet was cracked and leaking so i needed a new one. the new fit a lot better

and then the rubber hose goes from the check valve to somewhere on the back of the intake right?....or somewhere...

Hey bowtie, the booster isn't aluminum, the check valve is. It comes machined to accept a 6-AN fitting. The truck is a '67. If you are looking for a booster setup, I would strongly suggest a company called Master Power Brakes. They stock everything you will need and are very knowledgeable about braking systems. Do a google search for them. You won't be disapointed. Now they offer a polished stainless steel booster. I wish it was available when I bought mine. It looks really sweet.
