how do I open the left of the unit?

Right side is easy. Two bolt being the door that slides open.

But I have no clue how to get to the left (rear) bulbs

Re: replace bulb overhead console

You'll have to drop the whole thing down in order to access the bulbs to replace them.
It's a real P.I.T.A. I know.... Believe me I KNOW!!!!

Re: replace bulb overhead console

thanks guys.

I indeed had to drop the whole console. Which was pretty easy in my case, because mine seems to be a shortened version by the PO.

Just three bolts and it dropped down. Easy accesss from the rear to the bulbs. replacing them with LED was easy from that point.

thanks.

here is a phpto from the rear. Hope it helps others
