'63 c10
Greetings! I joined a while back but haven't posted so I thought I'd introduce myself and my junk.
I currently work at Ridetech as their shock tech. I do custom builds/valving along with unusual applications. Prior to Ridetech, I was in the Coast Guard for 24 years until I retired in 2012. Here's my C10 when I got it in 2013: Here it is now: I got it on the road in January of this year and so far I have about 5000 miles on it. It's got a 454 w/ MSD Atomic EFI, a 4L80, full Ridetech air suspension with digital control, Moser 12 bolt rear, CPP 4 -wheel disc brakes, Autorad radiator and core support, Vintage Air, and a bunch of other stuff to make it a fun driver. I have a build thread on the C10 forum if anyone is interested. |

Re: '63 c10
Thanks! The 454 runs like a champ!
The Chevelle has been on the back burner for a while. Once I finish the LS swap in the El, I have an all aluminum 509 for the Chevelle and I'm building a new chassis for it as well. Thanks! |

Re: '63 c10
I read thru most of your build thread on the other forum and I like what you have done. Have you had a chance to use those upgraded wipers yet?

The only drawbacks (though no fault of the wiper motor) is the wipers themselves aren't very big and the curve of the windshield makes the passenger side wiper lose contact at the extreme end of the stroke. |

Re: '63 c10
Thanks for the info. It looks like a fairly straight forward mod as long as a guy has the switch. It looks like the guy that makes the switch should be back in the states along about February or March. I might give this a try once he is back and I can get a switch.
