Noob 1966 c30 and 1980 c30

Should I swap the 66 cab to the 80 frame or swap the 80's suspension and driveline to the 66 frame? Has anyone done the cab swap?

This question gets asked all the time (just yesterday) and my answer is always, do not swap the frame. Yes I have done it and will never do it again. It is a lot of work and you will end up with about a 3" body lift. Plus there is the possible legal issues. Just install all the '80 C30 running gear under your '66 C30. It is much easier.
