Check washer fluid message
My 06 GMC displays this message. The sensor and reservoir have been replaced. Whats the fix?

I have had the sensors stick in the past if it was low on fluid for an extended period of time. I have Also seen the plastic bottles crack and the Grommets leak as well.
If the reservoir is full of fluid and the sensor is not reading it either the float is stuck on the sensor, or there is a break in the wire. It could also possibly have a bad or corded connection. If you have verified the wiring then its either the sensor or the signal. I don't have the schematics for that in front of me to see what all it goes through. I have never seen a bad dash display the message as of yet. |
