WIW NOS oak? Bed floor planks
Ok...so among some of my NOS 67-72 parts are a a set of NOS GM bed floor planks still sealed and bound in their original banded cardboard containers-what value do they hold anymore? I know most people go aftermarket/custom anyway so I was wondering that's all. They haven't been opened and there are 2 boxes that make up a set. Climate controlled storage since new. Not even sure how to offer these for sale...shipping would be outrageous!

I'll have to double check the GM part number on the box to be able to tell. They appear to be for a Shortbox tho.

Re: WIW NOS oak? Bed floor planks
It's yellow pine. Kinda hard to put a price on a thing with no comparison. That seller in '08 I remember had a difficult time establishing a price. Things have shot up incredibly since then, too. May profiteers in these parts in just the last few years. The value would be to an original restoration and I'd think at least $1,000. Shipping isn't your problem and it's not like the buyer can shop around. To the one who needs this for their 100% correct restoration they'll have to be willing to pay to play. A feller can go out and have kiln dried yellow pine milled for a 100% correct "appearance". He'll be paying possibly as much as that $450.

Re: WIW NOS oak? Bed floor planks
Yeah....and I'd hate to be the one to cut open the banding and such for pics when it'd be way more cool to have the buyer "open up" their part and be the first to see it all. Its like when I was huge into unopened baseball wax back in the day-much more fun to be the first person to see the vintage stuff! I also have some NOS 67-72 and 73-87 truck carpeting too that I need to get a price on....stuff like that is such an oddball thing to price.
