Project: BigBEN(1964 GMC 6500)
From the moment I laid eyes on it...it was love at first site! Now its time for me to breathe life back into its lungs, so we can ride off into the sunset. This project will cost me a pretty penny, so it will probably take a few years to complete everything, but it will be worth the money and patience to get it right. I welcome y'all to follow me on this journey...stay tuned for Operation: BigBEN

Welcome and nice truck. Looks like a good start of a project. Does it still have the original V6?

Re: Project: BigBEN(1964 GMC 6500)
Thanks! My plans are to do a full customization of the truck...a modern flare with a old school face...LSA engine with supercharger...9ft custom sidestep bed complete with wood panel floors...custom paint job...update dash and seating...allison transmission...dual skyward exhaust...relocate step tank to rear of cab...air suspension...and a few other changes...

Re: Project: BigBEN(1964 GMC 6500)
Thanks! Yes it does, the original 478 V6...it was kept in a barn for over 40 years! Great shape to start the project...the pistons are pretty rusty, so it doesn't run...but that's and easy fix...I will be selling parts I don't want to fund my customization project...so if anyone is interested, please contact me.
