Transmission Modulator
Does anyone have the technical details as to the difference in the stripe colors on the transmission modulators? I've searched, but couldn't find an answer. I understand how to adjust them, but how is a blue stripe different from a green or red? How would I know what flavor came from the factory? I'm replacing one on my '76 C25 TH350. Thanks in advance! --Rob

Re: Transmission Modulator
The green stripe is the most common, colors mean different spring tension, the softer the spring the lower & softer the shift points . By adjusting the screw out you allowing the vacuum to act more on the modulator . I use to order all green stripe for use in the 400 and 350 . Try not to adjust it too much, a few turns is usually enough.
