Need advice on a good battery terminal block?

Not sure if it's called that or not, but I am looking for something to attach all the extra wires to my battery. I would like something I could attach a 4 gauge, and 8 gauge bare wire, and have 2 or 3 places to connect wires with ring terminals. Also I would like one I could still use jumper cables with. Kind of like this, but with provisions for ring terminal connections.

Why not get something like in your link, then take a 10 or 12ga wire from the small opening to an aux. fuse block similar to this Amazon.com: OLS PSZACCEPS051H 6-Way LED... I'm assuming you want to easily be able to add circuits direct to the battery. I'm doing something similar in my 03 for a bunch of my accessories I'm adding, but using a switched source to power the switches and then the battery will feed the relays direct, I also have duel terminal batteries which gives you even more options.

Thanks for the advice Biketopia, most of what I am trying to connect is already fused so I don't know about having two fuses in the same circuit, especially when what I am trying to add has a much higher fuse rating than the add on fuse box fuses do.

Those look pretty good. It also looks like you could put a jumper cable on it if you needed to jump start your truck, which is what I was looking for. Is that correct?

Yes you could, the plastic cover looks to be more for cosmetics but it pops off easily enough to jump start it if needed.

One thing that I did to prevent my battery from dying is that I added a Battery Tender that are also connected to terminals. It comes with a quick disconnect plug that make it easy to keep charged and unplug.

I have the same thing on my battery! Real handy to keep the battery charged since it doesn't get driven that much. So how did you connect a ring terminal to that setup? I don't see any where to attach a ring terminal.

I just cut the ring off, stripped the wire, and fitted it into the terminal block.

That looks nice, thanks! What gauge is that battery tender wiring? It looks much larger than mine. Mine is probably 16 gauge, yours looks like 10 or 12 gauge in the pic.

I'm not sure what size it is but it's not the original wire. I cut the original wire at some point on accident and used what I had on hand to rewire the battery tender. I have not noticed any difference in how it charges but the gauge it was replaced with was only a matter of what I had laying around.

I'll actually be rewiring a few things on the truck to clean it up a bit better so there will likely be one or two more wires going into that terminal block.

im going to use the terminal block that comes in a 94+ chevy truck thats mounted to the firewall. theres 5 or 6 studs there to run accessories.

Hey Michael, do you have a picture you could post? I do have another terminal block with a single stud and a few wires running to it. I've been contemplating getting it cleaned up.

I use the Raptor. I also use the multi circuit blade fuse unit but mount it inside the cab. When I connect to the Raptor I solder the wire ends. I had to file the clamp part a bit to get it to fit snug on my terminals. I just don't like how the bolt spins with one wrench. I may try a good old square head bolt. I also have deep cycle marine batteries that have the top posts and standard lugs. I connect as many negative terminals as I can to my battery to eliminate ground issues.
