q-jet issues after smog removal

84 454. removed all smog related stuff. rerouted vacuum lines. starts fine, high idle cold, runs down the road way better than ever but once warm refuses to idle.... is this common? is it a simple adjust the idle screws fix? thanks, steve.

and no, there are no vacuum leaks. I have thoroughly checked and verified that..

Re: q-jet issues after smog removal

From your description, sounds like a simple cold idle speed screw adjustment. Did you move the vacuum advance to a manifold source? That can help with low and mid throttle response.
