Loud starter help!
So my 01 1500 with 5.3l had a rear main seal leak, I pulled the tranny, replaced the seal and rear cover on the block and re installed the tranny. Now my starter is sounding really loud, I'v shimed the starter but it hasn't changed. Any ideas?

Fly wheel on backwards or cracked or flywheel shim missing
