What do I need to replace my 250 timing chain?

What do I need to ask for when I go to NAPA tomorrow when I replace my timing chain on my 250 I6? Someone told me I should have replaced that too when I did the water pump last weekend.
So I need,

Timing chain
The two Sprokets
And the Timing chain cover Gasket?

Should I replace the bolts also?

Thanks guys.

The I6 doesn't have a timing chain. Whoever told you it does hasn't owned a six cylinder in his life. And is not one you should take info from. lol They have timing gears. And no need to replace yours. Unless you want to pull the cam and crank shaft.

You need to find a more knowledgeable friend to give you advice. They must be used to working on Honda's that need a timing belt and not an old Chevy.

Haha thanks Man, it was someone who had more work on later model stuff doing maintenance, and then I looked up timing chains and I saw a whole lot so I was co fused, I've never owned a 6 before, so thank you for responding, I learning more and more as I go with this motor!

Yep. No chain. Gear against gear, which means the cam rotates opposite direction as the crank. Enjoy your 250. Good solid engines.

Yep! What they said ^^^^^^^. Here are a few pictures of what you will see under the timing cover. Hopefully not as greasy. I see no reason to do anything to the gears except a gentle cleaning with WD40 or kerosene to remove grime. There is a tube sticking out of the block right above the small gear. Make sure the holes in the tube are not plugged. The end is supposed to be pinched flat. That tube squirts oil on those gears when the engine is running. The timing cover seals against the oil pan. The timing cover has a seal inside the big hole. Remove the old one and install a new one. You must be careful not to damage it when you install it.

Don't let looks fool ya! Looks are deceiving. I thought it was a good engine so I spent time on it. Painted it, changed all the seals. Cleaned it up to look really nice. Runs good too. Now that I have been driving it I see that my oil pressure is 20 when driving and 10 at idle. YIKES! That's not good.
Just bought another engine. Anyone need a nice looking engine that needs a complete rebuild? Hahaha! Don't let looks fool ya!
