In 2001 the ls6 cam has the same exact specs as the ls2.
2002-2004 the ls6 changed to 204/218@.50 .550/.550 lift on a 117.5 lsa. So yes in 2001 they are the same. People get too caught up in the numbers from these articles. Remember there is more to the powertrain than just the engine. Either way the op has the information he asked for.
