I need a 67-72 smooth (No CHEVROLET) fleetside tailgate but do not want one that has thin metal that is not as thick gauge as the originals. Try GMC Paul for the 'gate your looking for. I purchased a smooth 'gate from him for my 71 4x4 and am very satisfied with it.

I bought one from Tim Christian. Seems nice and heavy. Goodmark made it. FYI....It does not come with the handle, inside rods or spring loaded latches but he was able to supply me with all that stuff too.
