65 Vent window rubber seal question - The 1947 - Present Chevrolet & GMC Truck Message Board Network

Does the vent window need to come out to replace the rubber seals. There are 2 seals. I'm guessing the straight one pulls right out but was wandering about the other one?

Yes you will need to remove the vent assembly to replace the seals. The lower pivot for the glass has a tension spring and retaining nut that you will need to remove, along with getting a upper pivot rivet replacement kit.
