So I only have 3 options for tubular control arms?

CPP, Ridetech or DJM for tubular?

I've read bad stuff about the DJM, the CPP are a little expensive for me and my pops and the Ridetechs are way too expensive.

Anything else out there?

Porterbuilt would be my only choice.
Rebuild your stock arms WAY before DJM.

Re: So I only have 3 options for tubular control arms?

Yeah I was in the process of rebuilding the stock ones but the lowers look like they might have been damaged once upon a time.

The Porterbuilt arms are sexy but there's no way I'd spend $1100 on control arms.

There is Michigan Metal works. Some better pricing on Summit and jegs, Classic parts, and performanceonline.com.

I just went through this. The best option out there is the PorterBuilt stuff. I know that there is cheaper options but you get what you pay for.

Re: So I only have 3 options for tubular control arms?

What are you wanting to achieve with the arms? Looks? Better performance? Easy adaptation to bags?

Do keep in mind, that you can purchase just the lowers from Porterbuilt. For example, if you are running a static dropped truck, you can get the lower 1" forward and keep factory uppers. This will give you more caster up front and position the wheel in the opening a little better. Just the lower with coil spring adapter would be $698.

I was actually looking at uppers. Looks and just wanted some more camber adjustment. Does PB sell just uppers?

Hmmmm! Damn the CPP ones are $325. I've got to see if I can afford the extra.

What bushing type does CPP use? Poly? I recall PB's use Delrin.

Building a small, high rpm engine with the perfect bore, stroke and rod ratio is very impressive.

Re: So I only have 3 options for tubular control arms?

Michigan Metal Works makes quality arms at a great price. I know you said tubular but give them a look. The flat plate uppers are $149 pair. They will also make you tubular if you want.

Just read through the ordering process carefully. MMW doesn't do shock mounts unless specified (apparently). Not sure what else so make sure you ask questions....
