buddy's are on a single frame where sport buckets/console are 3 individual pieces.

I make all my own seat covers . always check with your local auto upholstery shop for ideas on custom built seats , Never waste money on replacement foam even heavily damaged seat foam can be rebuilt or changed to get the look you desire or to change Dodge buddy buckets to look like Chevys .These are the door panels and seats I'm building for my '67 now .

And the upholstery style is way different...a buddy seat is more flat across the whole seat rather than raised on the sides. Same with the backs...less of a wraparound look (and feel, I'd guess).

Re: Bucket Buddy Seats

Buddy buckets were outsourced by GM, Dodge, and International. I believe the company was Bostrom. Circuswagonjim had literature pertaining to them here on the board a long time ago. A lot of the small parts between them are identical, and some have slight variations. I have pulled versions from all of the above, and Dodge is by far the "leader" when it comes to finding them, as they were used from ~68-79. GM used them in a small number of GMCs in 66, and in 67-68. I do not know the extent of the years International used them.
