Not a bad truck and all that. But, could someone please explain what I'm looking at in a couple of these pictures before I lose my mind?

Look at the top: left upper rear corner in pic #4. Daylight thru the 'extended metal overhang'. Wish I knew how to use Photoshop--if so, I'd consider some new software; or do you think he'd sell his copy cheaply?
