56 Deluxe Heater
I have the heater I took out of my 56 to put in Vintage -Air. It was cleaned & painted a few years ago with a new blower motor. There are no leaks & it heats good. I do not have the control panel but have a universal blower switch. $150 shipped.

is this out of a Chevrolet or GMC? they each have different vent outlet arrangements so one will not work in place of the other if the stock radio is used

It was in my 56 Chevy but it was not original. The fresh air intake was not hooked up. It possibly came from a GMC but kind of dought it.

So, if you flip it upright, the two defroster vents will be either on the same side of the heater core's clamshell housing or they will be staggered at a 45 to each other - which type do you have?
