Door panel arm rests

I just purchased a set of door arm rests for my 70 C10 from classic industries but they do not sell the hardware. Does anyone know where I can get some or the correct size and maybe I can get them at a local hardware store? Thank you.

JK - The answer is likely DLTruck1973

Incidentally, they're an inch long to top of head. Wish I could give you a thread number. At some point I'd like to get the gauges. If you need it I'll take a photo. Just two round head screws per side.

Re: Door panel arm rests

I just ordered the plastic square pieces that mount in the door for the screws from classic parts Inc. $.49 each. I think they might be same thing used to mount license plates.

You can buy the originals I bet, probably from the same location I provided. Not sure what they're called, but it's basically a steel nut (can't provide proper description) with metal tapered flare that punches out through the sheet metal facing cab. Look real easy to remove. Might be a small challenge to get in.

Re: Door panel arm rests

The metal nuts are called cage nuts. They are available from some of the vendors here. I found mine at Fastenal. They are 1/4-20 cage nuts.
