Bolts for Tailgate (Where to find?)
What's up guys-
I have the tailgate for my 1971 C20, but the bolts for installation have been misplaced. I can not seem to find them online and Pick N Pull has not been much help. Is there a website that is recommended for OEM parts or if someone knows the thread size? Any information would be appreciated. |

Re: Bolts for Tailgate (Where to find?)
Nevermind, I found the answer to my question in a thread posted a while ago. 3/8-16 x 1" long with a staked in place flat washer on them.

Re: Bolts for Tailgate (Where to find?)
I recommend locating a local bolt and fastener supplier. They are less expensive than Home Depot or True value and they have always had what I needed. They carry a lot of stainless steel nut and bolts.

Re: Bolts for Tailgate (Where to find?)
I too recommend a local fastener company// you get to b a regular pain in the a$$ for them to service but after awhile they warm up to you and meny times depending how you get along they will accept you and your project and many times they throw you freebies your way
