Re: slammed campers

In terms of physics; that much weight on a low ride height means that you need an EXTREMELY stiff spring...which in turn, would rattle a camper completely apart.

I have seen air ride put onto tow-behinds, allowing for a lowered-truck-and-trailer combo.

Re: slammed campers

remember that is a photo chop! not real.....

I assume if done right ($$$$$) you could do an air suspension that would make a camper look cool and still be useful too....

if they can make an air bag that holds up to a 5th wheel and a boat, I am sure a camper would be no big deal.

Wink Re: slammed campers

Did a wiki search on slammed campers and found they were cosley linked with elephants in mini-skirts. Pics are hard to come by, but they do exist. My question for both is ... Why?

Mine used to be a camper. Hauled a two ton Open Road Motorhome on his back for 47 years and 68,000 miles before I dug the tick off his back. Sorry as he's not a 60-66 but couldn't resist asking jonzcustomshop if you would photo chop my truck so I could see how Homer would look slammed?
