Looking for a K10 Frame Dimension
Can anybody post a 1967-1972 K10 Frame Dimension in blueprint and actual photo? Pls do help me as I am very much in need of information on the actual holes of the frame on a 67-72 K10. And I also want to know if there are any differences on the frame from the 63-76 K10 frames.
My project will involve a 1964 Chevy C10 that i intend to convert on using a Leaf Spring on both front and Rear. The place where im from would not allow me to swap frames from latest models since we dont have that much availability which is why this build is totally dependent on the information i have asked. I also dont see anybody selling a coil suspension lift kit for 64 Chevy C10. if anybody does know pls post it here as well. I may decide then to stay on 2wd. I just wanted to give it a lift from 2.5" to 3". |

Re: Looking for a K10 Frame Dimension
hi guys,
also maybe you can tell me the difference of frames of 64 chevy C10 to a 67-72 K10 frame. are they the same on the shape? i need to know if the location of the holes on the frame for my 64 c10 are the same for the 67-72 K10 so i can put the shackles and hangers properly on the frame. But if they are different pls let me know the difference |

Re: Looking for a K10 Frame Dimension
67...and I believe 68 K10 trucks had different size leaf springs (length and width) then the later model trucks (69 and up). The leaf spring mounts are for a wider spring, and mounted in a different location on the frame than anything 69 and up.

Re: Looking for a K10 Frame Dimension
so can you tell me if there is any difference on the frames of my 64 chevy c10 to the 67-72? im referring to the holes as well since i wanted to follow the K10 from the 67-72. Can post photos of the frame differences of this frames.
Pls do note my aim is to make my 64 chevy c10 adopt a leaf spring suspension for both front and rear. |

Re: Looking for a K10 Frame Dimension
I would imagine there is a lot of differences... however, I don't have access to an older frame to be able to give you a good answer. I think you will probably find out that there are so many differences, that you will have to just mock all your mounts and the exact springs you are going to use, and drill holes to locate them where you need them. Maybe someone else can give you a more exact answer, but I cant see them being similar in any way.

Re: Looking for a K10 Frame Dimension
i very much agree with you. if only there are any aftermarket lift kits for the 63-66 K10 that would very much be lovely. i could use them to change my frame to use a LeafSpring Suspension.

Re: Looking for a K10 Frame Dimension
Factory assembly manual has all of these dimensions I believe.
