SWB BB Shop Truck Build

This project has been sitting on hold for 5 years now. I am committed to assembling a solid shop truck with it this winter. Going to try and not get out of control.

Love it! That yellow is probably my most favorite color on these trucks... and looks like a nicely optioned truck

I wish I could find one like that with a long armload of options. Oh wait I did and still can't work on it.

Nice! Love the Big Block - 454? Whoo

Too bad I wasn't prescient enough way back when - Now I'd have to buy a completely new engine stand just to hold one of those monsters without risking killing myself .. but now I know the extra woulda been worth it (so long as that big motor wasn't my daily commuter)..

Yes, it's a 454. I have another 427 that needs a rebuild but that will have to wait. I just want to get the truck back together so that I can clean house on extra parts that are cluttering up my work space.

This is a link to the day I acquired the parts donor (with SPID). I guess that it has been 6 years! Time flies!
