Another what is this part?
Searched the site and googled the part number but no luck. Anybody know?

It is a temp sensing unit but what does it fit?

Looks later than our trucks, they use a spade type connection.

Looks like a temperature sensor for an idiot light dash. Application to our trucks would depend largely on the thread size. If I recall correctly 67-72 threads were 1/2" NPT. Sometime later they changed to 3/8" NPT. Here's a picture of my original.

It was in a box that had the faint remains of a GM symbol but not identifiable part number. As for the Chevy may here is a better picture of it it's just a foam mat I bought for my dad for Christmas a few years ago but now I get more use out of it than he does!

Hard to judge the size from the picture but it kinda looks like the switch in a proportioning valve.
