85 Sierra fender to cowl seal

Ive been surfin the net looking for new fender to cowl seals. Anyone know where I can find them?

I think if I remember correctly, they don't make that seal aftermarket. I think someone in the parts section for 73-87 had them for sale not long ago.

STILL Working on a frame up: 1987 Truck body on a 78 Blazer frame. Need cab blasted to start project. Got the cab BLASTED, Now Prep and Paint. Started to lay SOME BONDO and primer. Done, Ordering paint. Got paint, Stuff painted,Cab,Fenders, Hood more later. 9/7/2015 Got the clear coat on,now time to take one off. Started to put things back (What a nightmare) like the heating and AC stuff,inside wire harness, outside AC unit and booster, still more. May 2016, still working on the inside. Got duck work in,heating and AC. Radio (stock) in dash with after market in console later, Speaker are hooked up, Steering column is in. Getting ready to drop the cab onto the frame, Working on engine now since I have the room. Well here it is 2018, got the engine in and it runs, now I need to get the exhaust system in so I can adjust the lifters, to loud right now. Got the exhaust on now I am waiting for the break parts to come in.

motornut, that is what I'm looking for. I was really hoping someone made them new. Mine where missing when I tore my truck down. Guess I can look around the local yards.

Not sure when they started,not sure if they all had them,I've seen without,others mentioned it too.complaints of them holding crap in there to rust ,like my 87 there.

I believe they was a optional part to cut back on the wind noise,So i bet they was only on later or maybe higher trim trucks.

I did a little digging and it looks like both of those things. It appears they were 85 or 86 & later and Silverado/Sierra Classic only.

The vertical pieces were on trucks at least as far back as 77 as the parts Blazer I have had them and the 78 GMC I just bought has them. I don't think you will be finding reproductions anywhere though

My '74 Sierra Grande has them. Hopefully they will be salvageable when I tear it down for paint.
